The Northern Territory Rural High School Visits (RHSV) program is a national initiative of the National Rural Health Students Network (NRHSN), engaging university rural health clubs to promote further education and health career opportunities to rural high school students in the NT.

In April, Poche NT participated in the annual RHSV program, which visited schools including Palmerston Senior College and Kormilda College (Darwin), Katherine High School, St Joseph’s College (Katherine), to promote “Pathways into Medicine” including Year 12 pathways into the Charles Darwin University Bachelor Clinical Science and the Northern Territory Medical Program (NTMP) Double Degree.

The RHSV program is coordinated by the Northern Territory Primary Health Network (NT PHN) in conjunction with the Student Association for Rural and Remote Health (StARRH).
