Flinders NT sponsored the Aboriginal Medical Service Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT) Conference held in Alice Springs on 11th and 12th May 2017, which celebrated 10 years of Indigenous Leadership program.

The program included a presentation by Rury and Riagan Liddle, both Indigenous graduates from the Flinders NT Medical Program. The brothers have returned as doctors to the communities where they grew up in Central Australia and are currently working out of the Alice Springs Hospital.

The event was well attended and included launch of the 2017 – 2019 AMSANT Reconciliation Plan. It also provided valuable networking opportunities with staff from various Indigenous organisations.
