History at the Movies: The Changing Role of Women

Fridays at the Library in collaboration with the History Council of South Australia presents “History at the Movies: The Changing Role of Women“.

3.00-5.00pm, Friday 30 May 2014, Noel Stockdale Room, Central Library, Flinders University

How far have women come over the past 40 years?

These three documentaries from the 1970s will open your eyes to how much – or little – attitudes towards the role of women in Australian society have changed. The films will be introduced by expert speakers and there will be time for discussion over a glass of wine afterwards.
