10% discount on publishing charges from MDPI

Flinders University Library is pleased to announce that we are now a member of publisher MDPI’s Institutional Open Access Program (IOAP).

MDPI is an Open Access publisher meaning, articles in MDPI journals are not behind a paywall and are available to researchers around the world free of charge. MDPI currently publishes over 200 journal titles.  You can view their list of journals here.

The key benefit to Flinders researchers is a 10% discount on article processing charges (APCs) for all MDPI journals.  Discounts are also available for MDPI’s book and chapter processing charges.

To take advantage of this discount, authors need to select that they are from an IOAP member institution in the last step of article submission.  Using your flinders.edu.au email address will prefill this for you.

As always, please make sure that the journal you are publishing in is right for you.  If you have any questions or comments on MDPI or publishing in general, please get in contact with us by selecting ‘Library Query’ from Service One or email us researchlibrarians@flinders.edu.au.
