Angie is a pracademic, interdisciplinary researcher and a Clinical Pathologist with more than 25 years of experience in the medical, education, quality and accreditation sectors in Australia, China, Singapore, North Africa and the Gulf. She is the Director of the Healthcare Management Programs at Flinders University where she provides leadership both nationally and internationally for the programs. She has taught in under-graduate and post-graduate degrees across medicine, business administration and health care management and has multi-disciplinary expertise through the successful completion of two doctorate degrees, in Medicine (MD) and in Business Administration (DBA) that is further complemented by extensive clinical and industry experience in both fields.<\/p>\n
Angie’s passions lie in learning and teaching in digital health and innovative transformation in health. Her interests span the ageing healthcare consumer’s journey, process mining to enhance patient experience and well-being, PROMs and PREMs, aerospace medicine, digital health and uses of emerging technology in improving the healthcare delivery including health apps, wearables, virtual reality, telehealth, and social media in health.<\/p>\n
Angie is a co-founder of InnovateInn, a Technology start-up specializing in Medtech and AgriTech. A research commercialization expert with hands-on experience in Health Transformation, who uses her unique interdisciplinary expertise to engage in translational research and has published in clinical leadership, digitization, innovation and sustainability in health, health consumer experience, remote monitoring, improving service quality and patient-centred health service models.<\/p>\n
She is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators, Australasian Society of Aerospace Medicine, Australasian Institute of Digital Health, Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management and is an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management. Angie is currently serving on the Board of Rotary International, a humanitarian not-for-profit service organization that aims to advance goodwill and peace around the world as well as the Advisory Committee of AvantiCare, providers of holistic allied healthcare and wellbeing services to the South Australian community.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
