HERDSA SA event

Dear HERDSA SA Branch members

What better way to start the new year with a couple of events and collegial get-togethers to spark ideas for 2019?

Envisioning the Next Generation of Higher Education with Chad Habel is a modelling exercise (using the LEGO Serious Play method) to ‘depict our imagining of a future generation of Higher Education with all its attendant challenges, changes and opportunities’.   Chad brings his wide-ranging Higher Education experience to what promises to inspire our big-picture thinking about our roles and those of our institutions. This is a GREAT way to start the new year and launch us into the teaching period (for those of us who haven’t quite started yet).

The event will be held on Monday February 18 between 2.00pm and 4.00pm, COG (Level 7, Hughes Building) at Adelaide University.

Our ACEN friends are also holding a two-workshop seminar Emerging Models of WIL: Enablers, Challenges and Implications & How can students develop and evidence entrepreneurial skills through WIL? Presenters are Judy Kay from RMIT and Associate Professor Judith Smith from QUT.

This event will be held Tuesday 12 February from 9.00am – 11.30 AM in the JS3-13A/B, Jeffrey Smart Building, City West Campus, University of South Australia.
