\nIt\u2019s a clich\u00e9, but for me it really is about the people, and our shared sense of purpose. We are all here because we believe in the value of education, and whether we are teaching staff, researchers, professional staff or somewhere in between we are all contributing to the growth and betterment of society through education and research. How great is that?!<\/p>\n
\nI\u2019m an advocate of mindfulness, and cherishing each moment for what it is, so for me it is often the small encounters that give me joy \u2013 watching a butterfly, hearing people laugh, receiving, or even better offering, a compliment.<\/p>\n
\nI am looking forward to 2022 bringing moments of calm, and what I\u2019m hoping will be a sense of community reunification and optimism. The last few years have been challenging, to say the least, and I think we all deserve a break.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
