{"id":507,"date":"2019-03-01T14:44:54","date_gmt":"2019-03-01T04:14:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/cilt\/?p=507"},"modified":"2023-06-27T14:09:58","modified_gmt":"2023-06-27T04:39:58","slug":"whats-new-in-flo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/cilt\/2019\/03\/01\/whats-new-in-flo\/","title":{"rendered":"What\u2019s new in FLO?"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li><strong>There is now a single list for all users in your topic.<\/strong> You can now view one <a href=\"https:\/\/flo.flinders.edu.au\/mod\/glossary\/showentry.php?courseid=151&amp;eid=104309&amp;displayformat=dictionary\">list of all participants<\/a> in your topic and use the \u2018filter\u2019 function to see the list by group, by role (e.g. student) or by status (active\/inactive).<\/li>\n<li><strong>There are now more ways to award badges. <\/strong>You can now award <a href=\"https:\/\/flo.flinders.edu.au\/mod\/glossary\/showentry.php?courseid=151&amp;eid=104309&amp;displayformat=dictionary\">badges<\/a> to students based on completion of other badges.<\/li>\n<li><strong>You can now tag quiz questions and database entries.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/flo.flinders.edu.au\/mod\/glossary\/showentry.php?courseid=151&amp;eid=104309&amp;displayformat=dictionary\">Tags<\/a> will make questions and entries searchable and easier to find.<\/li>\n<li><strong>You can now preview Choice as a student.<\/strong> This allows you to preview your <a href=\"https:\/\/flo.flinders.edu.au\/mod\/glossary\/showentry.php?courseid=151&amp;eid=104309&amp;displayformat=dictionary\">Choice<\/a> activity as a student would.<\/li>\n<li><strong>You can now mark activities complete on behalf of students.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/flo.flinders.edu.au\/mod\/glossary\/showentry.php?courseid=151&amp;eid=104309&amp;displayformat=dictionary\">Activity completion<\/a> just got easier with the ability to manually mark off a student\u2019s activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>FLO theme updates<br \/>\n<\/strong>We have made some improvements to the FLO theme. The Navigation bar at the top of every FLO site has undergone some changes including the items in the <strong>H<\/strong><strong>elp and support<\/strong> menu and the addition of a direct link to the <strong>L<\/strong><strong>ibrary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>T<\/strong><strong>opic links<\/strong> block in all topics has also had a refresh with removal of the \u2018Readings and Library resources\u2019 link, due to the introduction of the topic-based <strong>R<\/strong><strong>eadings<\/strong> (Leganto) link.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is now a single list for all users in your topic.
