Since ResearchNow go live in August 2019 the ResearchNow Portal has only been available within Flinders campuses.  On 30th January the ResearchNow Portal will be available publicly and accessible via the Flinders website.

In addition, researcher’s current Flinders Staff Profile Page will have some integration with their researcher profile page on the ResearchNow Portal.  Selecting the Research tab on Staff Profiles will open the researcher’s ResearchNow Portal page.  The current Publications tab in the Staff Profile Page will be removed and the publications information will now be presented in the ResearchNow portal as research outputs. The change will have the following additional impacts:

• Researchers will need to manually maintain their profile information in both the Staff Profile Pages and ResearchNow.  This includes biography and qualifications
• Similar information regarding professional engagement and activities will be presented in both the Staff Profile Pages and ResearchNow Portal
• Research expertise in Staff Profile Pages will be replaced by fingerprints in the ResearchNow Portal

The public release of the ResearchNow Portal is an exciting evolution in how Flinders will showcase its researchers and their research to the wider community. You can get to the ResearchNow Portal at https://researchnow.flinders.edu.au within Flinders and externally when it has been made public.
