If you have any, you should upload your files from the \u201cLibrary\u201d tab in your Desktop Recorder into MyMedia, otherwise you might lose them when you switch to the new version. <strong>Check out <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/dsts\/2019\/05\/16\/how-to-upload-your-saved-recordings-to-mymedia-before-28th-may-and-why-you-should\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this blog<\/a>\u00a0for instructions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>How to install the new Desktop Recorder<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>How to install the Desktop Recorder depends on what type of computer you have, and whether you have admin rights.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>If you&#8217;re working on your own PC or Mac<\/strong> for which you have admin rights (i.e. you can download and install software), then you can do this yourself. First, uninstall your current version of the Desktop Recorder using your usual process for removing applications on your PC or Mac. Then, download and install the new version of Desktop Recorder from FLO, as shown in the video below.<br \/>\n<div style=\"width: 640px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-317-1\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/dsts\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/78\/2019\/05\/InstallKalturaDesktopRecorderfromFLO.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/dsts\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/78\/2019\/05\/InstallKalturaDesktopRecorderfromFLO.mp4\">https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/dsts\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/78\/2019\/05\/InstallKalturaDesktopRecorderfromFLO.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div><\/li>\n<li><strong>If you&#8217;re working on a University managed PC<\/strong>, please contact IDS Helpdesk to have the current version uninstalled.
