When I found myself on the other side as an oncology patient, I\u00a0 couldn\u2019t fault the level of care provision from the Medical Oncology\/Day Unit nursing team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Each member of the team went beyond their duties to ensure I felt comfortable, supported and informed of my choices during a time when an individual is vulnerable and scared. The team included Flinders University graduates who displayed strong clinical knowledge combined with warmth, and a genuine desire to achieve the best outcomes for their patients. I can\u2019t thank the nursing team enough for the way they made me feel. The most difficult time in my life became more bearable because of their impact.
