2013 will be a big year for eResearch!
For almost a year, eResearch@Flinders staff have been working on a project to make it easier for Flinders researchers to manage their research data. That project will be completed in the first half of 2013, and we will be rolling out new tools and services in the second half.
Federally funded research data storage will become more widely available in the coming months and eResearch@Flinders staff will be available to assist researchers to determine which data is eligible – while the NeCTAR funded virtual labs will be starting to mature by the end of the year.
On top of that, we will be running a program of lunchtime seminars, continuing to support NHMRC funded researchers to make their work available for open access and working to connect researchers with useful eResearch tools and services.
We’re looking forward to it!
