The inaugural Consumer Advisory Board meeting was held at the Tonsley campus on 22 November with a full membership in attendance, comprising three researchers, seven consumers, and co-chairs Chris Trethewey (consumer advocate) and Associate Professor Kate Laver.
This meeting established the strategies for 2022 which includes: areas to upskill researchers and consumers to work together more efficiently, understanding the FHMRI theme research priorities for 2022, and the creation of an action plan for the group to begin documenting the work completed in this partnership.
