MRFF Rapid Applied Research Translation (RART) grant: Internal EOI process

Very similar to the last round, Flinders University is only allowed to submit 1 application across both Streams 1 and 2. We are running an internal EOI, due early next year, for an internal assessment committee to decide on the Flinders’ led application. I have attached the MRFF RART guidelines and the EOI form, for your reference. Please note that the MRFF has clarified with us via email that the Streams are based on location of the projects, not the location of organization (i.e. Flinders University). They are in the process in updating the guidelines and publishing an addenda to make this clear.

Expression of Interest (EOI) Process

  1. Please email Rui Hoo (rui.hoo@flinders.edu.au) the following: (a) CIA name, (b) tentative Project title, and indicate (c) the stream in which the project is targeting, by January 31, 2023.
  2. For applicants to Streams 1 and 2, please complete this EOI application form and send it to Rui Hoo (rui.hoo@flinders.edu.au) by February 8, 2023.
  3. A selection committee will assess all Flinders EOIs and rank the applications based on the grant objectives, the desired outcomes of the streams, and the assessment criteria set by the MRFF guidelines.
  4. Outcomes of the EOI will be notified by February 16, 2023.

The MRFF will open the call on Jan 9 2023, and will close in May 12 2023.
