The Australian Medical Association invites nominations for its woman in medicine award. This recognises a female member of AMA who has made a major contribution to the medical profession. Contributions may include:
•commitment to quality care;
•contributing to medical research within Australia;
•initiation and involvement in public health projects;
•improving the availability and accessibility of medical education and medical training for women;
•contributing to medical politics.
Nominations must be made by a member of the AMA.
The recipient may receive travel support for their attendance at the AMA national conference.
