Once only, download FlindersPrint from IDS Support Portal on desktop, shown right.\u00a0 Click <a href=\"\/\/usercd\/C\/cox0247\/prefs\/Desktop\/flinders-print-quick-ref-guide-windows.pdf\">here<\/a> for PDF with download instructions. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1284 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/fcic-now\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/73\/2022\/06\/flinders-print-quick-ref-guide-windows_identified-300x196.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"196\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/fcic-now\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/73\/2022\/06\/flinders-print-quick-ref-guide-windows_identified-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.flinders.edu.au\/fcic-now\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/73\/2022\/06\/flinders-print-quick-ref-guide-windows_identified.jpg 612w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you have problems with this, call IDS on extension 12345.\u00a0 There is a &#8216;BYO Device&#8217; feature that will allow most computers and phones to use FlindersPrint.\u00a0 This is particularly useful for students needing to print from a range of devices.<\/li>\n<li>To install the FlindersPrint software without visiting Flinders IDS Support Portal, click <a href=\"https:\/\/flindersprint.flinders.edu.au:9164\/setup\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If you are <strong>working from an SA Health computer<\/strong> you may need SA Health IT to assist with the download due to SA Health firewall on computers.\u00a0 Flinders IDS is working with SA Health IT to resolve and avoid numerous individuals needing to call SA Health IT help.\u00a0 If this applies to you, please email michelle.cox@flinders.edu.au so your situation can be included in the resolution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Step 2:\u00a0 Once only, set FlindersPrint as your default printer.\u00a0 Click <a href=\"https:\/\/staff.flinders.edu.au\/content\/dam\/staff\/ids\/guides\/flindersprint-default-printer-guide.pdf\">here<\/a> for instructions how to do this.<\/p>\n<p>Step 3. Each time you want to use the printer\/scanner, go to the printer of your choice, tap your Flinders University ID card (staff or student card) and release the print job or scan your document.
