Applications must address one or more of the following challenges:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">improve the quality of life for survivors of prostate\u00a0cancer;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">develop treatments that improve outcomes for men with lethal prostate\u00a0cancer;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">reduce lethal prostate cancer in African Americans, veterans and other high-risk\u00a0populations;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"none\">define the biology of lethal prostate cancer to reduce death.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Postdoctoral researchers may apply. They must possess a doctoral degree, or equivalent qualification, and have three years or less of postdoctoral research experience on 31 March 2021.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The total budget is USD 9.6 million, to fund approximately 20 awards.
