Worldwide Cancer Research<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

These grants support fundamental and translational research into the causes, mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cancer. (Note: doesn\u2019t fund clinical trials)<\/p>\n

Principal investigators may be based at any non-profit research institute worldwide. They should have at least three years post-PhD research experience, or equivalent qualification.<\/p>\n

Grants are worth up to \u00a3250,000 each over one to three years, although most projects receive up to \u00a3200,000.<\/p>\n

Closing date<\/strong> 27 Apr 18<\/p>\n

This funding round will open in March and Close in April.<\/p>\n

These support young scientists at universities and research centres worldwide who wish to receive training in cancer immunology. Fellowships are worth up to USD 175,500 over three years.<\/p>\n

Using information technology to support systematic screening and treatment of depression in oncology practices (R01 clinical trial optional)<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

NIH: National Cancer Institute, US<\/p>\n

This aims to identify new, IT-enabled delivery models that support systematic screening and treatment of depression in cancer patients. Application budgets are not limited but need to reflect the actual needs of the proposed project. The maximum project period is five years.<\/p>\n

Yamagiwa-Yoshida memorial international study grants<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Union for International Cancer Control<\/p>\n

These enable cancer investigators to carry out bilateral research projects abroad that exploit complementary materials or skills, including advanced training in experimental methods and special techniques. Between 14 and 16 grants, worth USD 10,000 each, are available for up to three months.<\/p>\n
