Most of our projects have involved identifying changes in the levels of microRNAs, long non-coding RNAs and protein-coding gene transcripts. Understanding how gene activity changes in tumours, especially how cancer cells respond to various treatments, will form the basis for identifying new biomarkers, novel drug discovery and precision medicine.
