Farewell Diané Ranck

Diané Ranck leaves Flinders this week with the expiry of her five year contract as the Director of Marketing and Communications. At her farewell last week, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Michael Barber, and the Vice-President (Strategy and Community Engagement), Gill Troup, applauded the transformation in the University’s brand and public profile that had occurred under her leadership. Diané thanked the University and her MACO colleagues for their support throughout a period of significant change for Flinders – a period in which the University had incorporated strong community engagement as a key aspect of its marketing activities.

Diané also presented a $20,000 cheque to Professor Derek Chew for cardiovascular research at Flinders, funds that had been raised by the Karmel Endowment Fund through an in memoriam for Diané’s late husband, Professor Gavin Brown.
