Staff service awards in recognition of the commitment, achievements and efforts of members of academic and professional staff who have worked at Flinders for 25 years were made at a ceremony in the University Function Centre on Monday, 16 December.
Congratulating the recipients, Vice-Chancellor Professor Michael Barber thanked them for their devotion and diligence. Each was presented with a certificate and a plant gift from the Flinders Investigator Garden.
Professor Barber said the real reward for such extensive service was the continuing growth and success of the University.
“In a significant sense, the University you see around you is of your making,” he said.
