Professor Paul Worley (pictured), Dean of the School of Medicine, spoke about the Flinders NT Medical Program in an article in the Centralian Advocate, Alice Springs. Associate Professor Nik Taylor from the School of Social and Policy Studies was interviewed by Darwin media about a Northern Territory government plan to allow prisoners to work in a new Darwin abattoir. Associate Professor Taylor’s study on animal welfare issues, co-conducted with Central Queensland University, also attracted widespread national coverage.
