Despite the scorching temperatures, Flinders made its presence felt both in and out of the water at the recent Brighton Jetty Classic, which is one of the southern suburbs’ major community events. A group of Flinders swimmers joined the event, while on-shore a team of volunteers dispensed University merchandise and promotional material and answered basic course enquiries.
