Meeting the challenges of research integrity

The Southgate Institute is holding a symposium on Challenges in Research Integrity on 8 May in the Health Sciences Building.

An increasing awareness of issues regarding publication ethics, academic and scientific integrity – both in the popular media and in academia – has prompted some calls for increased regulation from agencies which regulate the sciences but also have “teeth”.

This symposium will investigate whether this call is justified, and if so how research integrity might be better regulated. The symposium flyer contains further information on the program and registration.
