2014 Business Plan Competition

Been inspired to start a business  but not sure where to start? Enter the NVI/ Flinders University 2014 Business Plan Competition and begin your journey!

The Flinders University Business Plan Competition was established in 2008 to recognise and reward Flinders University students who develop high-quality business plans through selected Flinders University topics.

In 2014, the competition has become a key program within NVI. The 2014 Business Plan Competition is now open to all Flinders students and staff, Australian Science and Maths School students and participants of any New Venture Institute Program (past or present).

The objective of the competition is to encourage the launch and sustainability of new small businesses and scalable entrepreneurial ventures by the NVI/Flinders University community. Along the journey, participants will write a strategic, comprehensive business plan and pitch their idea to a panel of judges. Teams will compete to win up to $20,000 in cash, prizes and business development opportunities.

Your idea can be anything from a new piece of technology you want to commercialise to a new local retail concept or an app you want to launch –  if you have a business idea, we want to hear about it!

Applications open 1 August 2014.
