To make providing emergency information to our students a simple task and to cover our obligations under the Work Health and Safety legislation, the Work Health and Safety Unit at Flinders has produced a new range of emergency evacuation videos. These videos are more site specific and will replace the current (but rather dated) one that some areas have used in the past.  We ask that teaching staff play the new evacuation video to their students at the beginning of each new semester.

The video for each area’s specific evacuation area can be accessed using the Flinders icon on the desktop located in each lecture theatre. The video takes approximately one minute and 50 seconds to play.

All Faculty/School teaching staff should be aware of the new emergency evacuation video, the need to show it at the beginning of each semester and how to access the video in the lecture theatres and other teaching rooms.
