The 2014 Business Plan Competition is for staff too

Entries are now open for the 2014 Flinders Business Plan Competition, with plans due on November 7.

Established in 2008 to recognise and reward Flinders University students who develop high-quality business plans through selected Flinders University topics,  in 2014 the competition has become a key program within NVI.

The Business Plan Competition has broadened its eligibility and is now open to all Flinders students and staff, Australian Science and Maths School students and participants of any New Venture Institute Program (past or present).

The objective of the competition is to encourage the launch and sustainability of new small businesses and scaleable entrepreneurial ventures by the NVI/Flinders University community. Along the journey, participants will write a strategic, comprehensive business plan and pitch their idea to a panel of judges. Teams will compete to win up to $20,000 in cash, prizes and business development opportunities.

Your idea can be anything from a new piece of technology you want to commercialise to a new local retail concept or an app you want to launch: if you have a business idea, we want to hear about it.
