PhD scholarship for volunteering study

The School of International Studies is offering a three-year PhD scholarship for full-time research on an ARC funded research project, valued at $25,500 (tax free) per year

This exciting project, ‘Creating and sustaining a strong future for volunteering in Australia’, has Chief Investigators at Flinders University, Curtin University, Victoria University, and Macquarie University as well as partner organisations interstate and overseas.

The project seeks to answer the question of how to increase social participation by converting non-volunteers to the benefits of volunteering.

Applications are now open for study in 2015. Applications close on 31 October.
