Go yellow on the third day of the Adelaide Test

Dr Paul Kenny of the Flinders Business School is organising a “Yellow Day” on the third day of the Australia v India Test match in Adelaide on 14 December to raise awareness for childrens’ cancer charities.

Dr Kenny has been enlisting the support of local media, and also has the support of 70 SACA members. He intends to give away 1,000 yellow bandanas to members of the crowd on day three of the game.

Dr Kenny is providing a free yellow bandana to students and staff who are attending , which they can obtain by emailing him or meeting him at northern gate before the start of  play.

“We have been busy in an eventful few weeks designing, sourcing and funding the yellow bandanas for the Test, and a new Facebook page has been established,” Dr Kenny said.

Through community involvement and television coverage, Mr Kenny hopes that Yellow Day will become a major Adelaide, national and international  event.
