High achievers in research, industry and education are encouraged to apply for the 2015 Science Excellence Awards, South Australia’s premier science event to showcase outstanding scientific endeavour.

Nominations are invited from individuals across industry, government, research and education for one of the following categories:

• South Australian Scientist of the Year
• PhD Research Excellence
• Early Career STEM Professional
• Early Career STEM Educator of the Year (two awards: School Teaching and Tertiary Teaching)

Nominations close at 5 pm, Friday 27 April 2015.

The South Australian Scientist of the Year will receive $25,000 prize money and winners of all other categories will receive $10,000 prize money.

Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Thursday, 13 August at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
