Applications for the 2015 Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching and the Flinders Teaching and Learning Innovation Grants are now open.
The annual Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Teaching recognise exceptional teaching practice by individuals and teams across the University. These awards are made to teams of staff (headed by an academic) and/or to individual academic staff. Each winner (either individual or team) is presented with a Certificate and receives a prize of $5000.

The University’s Teaching and Learning Innovation Grants are an institution-wide internal funding scheme designed to support projects which go beyond normal teaching activities and which show innovation in any aspect of teaching, learning and/or assessment. Up to nine grants are awarded each year (including two focused on Internationalisation of the Curriculum), in the range of $6000 to $12000 each. Application is a two stage process, with the first stage assessed by the applicant’s faculty.
