US Ambassador to talk health technology innovation at Tonsley

BerryFlinders University’s Medical Device Research Institute at Tonsley will host US Ambassador John Berry’s Innovation Roundtable in Adelaide on Thursday, September 10.

Recognising Adelaide’s strength in health technology innovation, the Roundtable will focus on the sector, bringing together research, business and government representatives, along with secondary school and university students in a series of panel discussions.

Speakers include Kyam Maher, the Minister for Manufacturing and Innovation; Julia Beardsley, Associate Director, HealthInSA; Stewart Bartlett, the Chief Operating Officer of Signostics Limited; Megan Antcliff, Director, Strategic Projects and Innovation, Department of State Development and representatives from Flinders University, the University of South Australia and the University of Adelaide.

The diverse range of presenters will highlight US-Australian innovation success stories, and discuss the health technology innovation opportunities of the future.
