Flinders in the news

GerryAssociate Professor Gerry Redmond  (Social and Policy Studies) was interviewed for press, radio and television news stories about the disturbing results of a Flinders-led national survey on children and wellbeing.

On the back of his Ig Nobel prize for “unboiling” an egg, Professor Colin Raston and his Vortex Fluidic Device this week achieved national press, radio and television coverage for an application of the technology which enables on-the-spot production of the anaesthetic Lidocaine.

Professor Dennis McDermott (Poche Centre) and Flinders medical graduate and GP Dr Aleeta Fejo were interviewed on radio and television about the threat to Aboriginal health posed by entrenched racism.
