Ride2Work – a free brekky awaits

Flinders will be holding a free breakfast at the Sports Centre, Sturt and Tonsley to celebrate the benefits of riding to work as part of National Ride2Work Day on Wednesday, 14 October.

The main objective of the day is to normalise the idea of riding to work and encourage more of us to do so on a regular basis. It also aims to encourage people who have never ridden to work before to give it a go, while supporting frequent riders to stay motivated and inspire their workmates to get involved.

There will be a breakfast of fruit, yoghurt, muesli bar and coffee available to participants. Flinders staff will also be on-site to offer advice on riding to work, including access to end of trip facilities (showers and places to lock your bike) and preferred routes to each of the sites.

If you are interested in participating, register at Ride2Work and go into the draw to win the ultimate disc brake commuter bike, the cell Ultimo 2.0, valued at $849.

Details and venues:

Sports Centre – 6.30am to 8.45am

Sturt (adjacent bike rack next to gym) – 7.45am to 8.45am
