The following Faculties will present focused events on teaching, and all staff in the University are encouraged to attend .

Friday 27 November, 11am to noon – Social and Behavioural Sciences“Snapshots of innovations in Teaching and Learning from across our Faculty”, Moot Court (preceded by SaBS Faculty Prizes and Awards with light snacks – 10.30am to 11.00am)

Snapshots of innovations in Teaching and Learning from across the Faculty, featuring Pi Shen Seet on Teaching and Learning with Industry Projects, Jane Haggis on Transitioning first year students to Independent Inquiry based learning in a blended environment, George Karpetis on Using Anamnestic Process Recording for Critical Self-Analysis, Helen McLaren on Bite-size Video Teaching in Online Degrees, and Paul Williamson on Engaging Students via Computer Assisted Learning.

Friday 4 December, 9am to 12.30pm – Science and Engineering“Authentic Learning”, SILC Building.

Led by Associate Professor Karen Burke Da Silva, School of Biological Sciences, Flinders University.

The Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences Teaching and Learning event will be held in early 2016.
