A workshop on the ‘Mechanics of Government’ will be held at the Institute of Public Administration Australia (SA), facilitated by Associate Professor Cassandra Star from the School of Social and Policy Studies.

After participating in the course:
• You will be better equipped to understand the development of policy within the cabinet process
• You will be better equipped to understand the role of Parliament and its relationship to the public service
• You will be better equipped to understand the role of Parliament in the passage of legislation

The workshop will be held on Tuesday 24th November and Flinders’ students and staff are able to access the discounted State Government Employee Member rate of $495 for a full day program including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
