Small startup companies from Flinders New Venture Institute are on the big stage in the USA for two weeks to network and share their ideas with like-minded businesses.
The annual Flinders tour, which includes winners from Venture Dorm, will take in both San Francisco and California’s Silicon Valley and New York’s “Silicon Alley” with Austin, Texas in between.
In Austin, members of the delegation will meet SA Premier Jay Weatherill who will host a special event for the SA visitors in the Austin City Hall. US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are among the keynote speakers at the international South by Southwest 2016 (SxSW) festival in Austin.
