Health and wellbeing as whole of society concerns: Southgate forum

WhiteheadThe Southgate Institute’s Policy Forum on 19 May at Flinders University Victoria Square will discuss Health and Wellbeing as Whole of Society Concerns.

The forum, to be chaired by Professor Michael Kidd, will examine how sectors other the health sector contribute to the social determinants of health and health equity.

There will be presentations by Professor Dame Margaret Whitehead (pictured), WH Duncan Chair of Public Policy at the University of Liverpool, UK, and by Professor Dora Marinova, Professor of Sustainability at Curtin University.

A panel discussion with representatives from the justice, envrionment, industry and urban planning sectors will follow, facilitated by Professor Fran Baum.
