Join Flinders in Blood Donor Week

This year Flinders is joining the celebrations for National Blood Donor Week from 12–18 June. It’s one of the ways we support the Australian Red Cross Blood Service and its group donation program, Red25, to increase awareness of the need for over 1 million blood donations each year in Australia.

In the past year, Flinders University made 1173 donations, saving up to 3519 lives. With your help, we can save even more!

In order to contribute to the Councils Blood Challenge you need to be part of our council’s Red25 group and give blood before Thursday, 30 June. To help you sign up and make an appointment, Leila Pardon, Community Relations Officer at the Red Cross Blood Service will be at the Ground Floor of the Plaza and Student Hub  on Thursday 16 June between 11am and 1pm.
