This Thursday’s ‘Meet the Winemaker’ tasting session at Alere will showcase Dowie Doole’s indie range with canape accompaniments from Alere Head Chef Kyle Wood, while Flinders University student songstress Rachel Slatter plays live.

The brain child of  renowned McLaren vale grape growers Drew Dowie and Norm Doole, Dowie Doole was created in 1995.

From its inception the winemaker has been committed to making premium wines that will be “loved and remembered”.

In recent years Chief Winemaker and Managing Director Chris Thomas has taken the McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills winery from strength to strength, with James Halliday ranking it as a 5 star winery in 2015 – and naming it 2016’s ‘Dark Horse – One to watch’.
