Italian Research Down Under 2016

A multidisciplinary conference presented by ARIA-SA and the Science Attaché from the Embassy of Italy, Canberra, will look at Italian Research Down Under this Thursday at Flinders University, Victoria Square.

Topics will include “An Intercultural Orientation to the Learning of Italian Language and Culture”, with Associate Professor Angela Scarino, who is  Director of the Research Centre for Languages and Culture at  University of South Australia, and Chair of the Multicultural Education and Languages Committee at the Government of South Australia.

Professor Oscar Moze, Science Attaché, will talk about “Italian Science Diplomacy”, while Professor Marcello Costa, Matthew Flinders Distinguished Professor of Neurophysiology, will present on “The Impact of Italian Science in the World from the Renaissance to the Present”.
