Workshop success cements Indonesia partnership

Ten officials from the West Java Human Resource Development Board (Bandung, Indonesia) have completed a two-week training program titled Global Issues and Debates at Flinders.

Flinders academic staff from the Schools of Education, Public Policy, Governance, Law and International Relations presented the workshop program.

This program was the first activity following a signing of an Implementing Arrangement between Flinders University and the Human Resource Development Board of West Java Province with a view to future provision of short courses and technical training for government officials.

Program participants were joined by the Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr Yayan Ganda Hayat Mulyana, the head of the West Java Human Resource Development Board, Dr H Herri Hudaya, and representatives of the Department of State Development at a farewell dinner to celebrate their achievement.
