Take your business idea to St James’ Palace

The Pitch@Palace program is coming to Australia in September and all technology start-ups between 0-5 years old who are looking for a unique opportunity to grow are invited to participate.

The program is the brainchild of the Duke of York and has been established to connect early-stage businesses with CEOs, influencers, angels, mentors and business partners from around the world.

The objectives of the program in Australia are to:

  • promote the importance of, and provide key support for, Australian entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses
  • foster more entrepreneurial talent within Australia
  • utilise the expertise and relationships of four major Australian universities (RMIT, Bond, Macquarie and Wollongong) to work alongside the Government to support its innovation agenda
  • assist innovative Australian businesses to boost the economy

For fledgling entrepreneurs, Pitch@Palace Australia offers a rare opportunity to get their business ideas in front of a global audience of influencers who can assist in progressing their ideas to the next level.

To apply to be a part of the program, eligible participants must lodge an application by 1 August 2017.

Pitch@Palace Australia welcomes applications across a broad range of technology-related categories. Start-ups at all stages of development are encouraged to apply, from “An Idea on Paper” through to fully commercialised enterprises.

Finalists from the Pitch@Palace program will attend a Boot Camp on 26 September 2017, where they will receive support and mentoring from ‘elevators’ to ‘perfect their pitch’. The Boot Camp will also include talks from inspiring industry experts.

The Pitch@Palace Australia Final will take place on 28 September 2017 in Sydney and the winner will be given the opportunity to attend a Pitch@Palace Global event at St James’ Palace in the United Kingdom on 6 December, 2017.
