A new anthology published by staff and students from Flinders’ Creative Writing program has plunged head-first into the complex world of love in all of its wonderful and varied forms.

Launched at Flinders Victoria Square by the multi-published novelist Victoria Purman, the collection explores the blaze of passion and the ashes left behind.

The editors of ‘Crush – stories about love’ include Flinders PhD candidate in Creative Writing, Jess Miller, and Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing, Dr Amy Matthews.

Bursting with affection, wit, loss and sex, the book aims to quicken the senses of cynics and believers alike by re-imagining everything that makes the heart leap.
