Flinders filmmakers on show at OzAsia

A collection of short experimental films by Flinders students will be showcased tonight, 26 September, at 8.00pm as part of the OzAsia Festival.

Entitled Follow Me to the River, the screening will investigate both real and imagined ideas of contemporary identity across Asia.

Pushing the boundaries of non-narrative filmmaking, the student filmmakers have been encouraged to think outside the box and consider different approaches to narrative structure, visual style and editing.

Also screening are new works direct from the Fresh Wave Festival in Hong Kong.

Entry is free, but subject to capacity. Free food and drinks will be available.

Staff and students are encouraged to come support local student filmmakers who are mixing up their style and taking risks.
