The team at the new Flinders Pantry + Café, located at Sturt campus, is passionate about pouring the perfect cup of coffee and offering students and staff fresh and wholesome food to grab and go.
Flinders Pantry + Café was launched in September 2017 as part of the campus-wide changes to retail, food and drinks.
The café is now owned and operated by Bespoke Hospitality Management and headed up by Elliott Horner.
The menu at Flinders Pantry + Café is fresh and locally sourced and made.
“Where possible we source ethically-farmed local produce to deliver fresh, sustainable and tasty food that changes daily,” says Mr Horner.
“There is a huge variety of dishes on our menu.
“We have everything from gourmet sandwiches, salads and hearty stews through to lunch-time favourites like burgers, wedges, nuggets and fish and chips.
“We also have a great selection of hot and cold vegetarian dishes.”
The team has certainly made an impression on the Flinders community in the short time that Flinders Pantry + Café has been open, with customers regularly coming back for the nutritious food, reasonable prices and friendly service.
“Being part of the Flinders community is awesome, because we get to build great relationships with students and staff at Sturt,” says Mr Horner.
“We love to see familiar faces every day and get to know new ones.”
Snacks start at $2.40 each and baked sweet treats start from $3.50 each.
Lunch is available from $5.00.
Flinders Pantry + Café also provides a catering service for meetings or corporate lunches.
The café is open Monday-Friday from 8.00am-5.00pm and is located on the ground floor of the Sturt building, West Wing.
