The IDS support portal on Windows desktops and the assystNET self-service portal on the web are being upgraded on the 6 December 2017.
Following the upgrade, the IDS support portal will allow staff to install software and printers quickly and easily.
Staff will also be able to access system information and make sure they are always up to date with the latest version of Windows.
The upgrade to assystNET will enable staff to find the tools and information they need more easily from the homepage.
For example, staff will soon be able to access self-help articles, log things with IDS, follow up on open calls and use instant messaging to chat with the service desk.
More information on these upgrades will be made available closer to 6 December.
