New head of student residence sought

Kathleen Lumley College, the postgraduate residential college of the University of Adelaide, is seeking a dynamic individual to undertake the responsibilities of Head.

Established in 1967, the College accommodates up to 81 postgraduate residents who are currently engaged in study at the University of Adelaide or who are undertaking courses at either Flinders University or the University of South Australia.

The Head of Kathleen Lumley College is responsible for the management of the College and, together with the College Council, the planning and policy development for the College.

The position is residential and part-time, and reports to the Council of the College.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a good understanding of the Australian university environment, postgraduate study and research, and the needs of multicultural students.

The successful candidate will be expected to take up the position early in 2018.
