Embedding literacy across the curriculum

A mini-workshop to help educators incorporate literacy-enhancing strategies in any topic will be held on 23 April 2018.

Using the ‘What, So what, What now?’ approach, presenter Dr. Cheryl Schelbach will examine how this has been done successfully in a Flinders University topic in Disability Studies.

Background, context, content and outcomes for learning will be discussed, culminating in an opportunity to consider how these practices may be incorporated in participants’ own teaching.

This event is presented by Writing across the Curriculum and Inside the Disciplines, a Flinders University Community of Practice.

When:   Monday 23 April, 12:00 – 1:30pm
Where:  Flinders University, Health Sciences Building Room 108

Participants are welcome to bring lunch.
