
Flinders University is partnering to co-host the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) conference in Adelaide, with a theme of thinking and acting differently for safer, more reliable health care.
The 2018 ACHSM (SA) conference will be conducted by Flinders together with Cumberland.au, which is a group of academics and practitioners who are keen to improve the health system through design thinking, systems thinking and operations research.
With a theme ‘Think differently in health’, the two-day program will encompass workshops, presentations and networking opportunities, including the optional conference dinner.
Delegates will hear from a number of leaders in their fields including keynotes by international specialists Professor Terry Young, who is Professor of Healthcare Systems at Brunel University London and Professor Michael Carter, who is a member of the Nursing Effectiveness, Utilization and Outcomes Research Unit in Canada.
